Book: Practical guide to Samba Reggae percussion

This practical guide is the first educational book in a series referring to the percussion of the Afro blocos of Salvador de Bahía, Brazil. These are carnival associations that have given rise to the music of samba reggae and Afro samba, and that have managed to be spread, enjoyed and demanded throughout the world.

The book includes access to audiovisual material in which the rhythms and breaks are detailed instrument by instrument. This is an essential manual for any batucada or batucada director. You will find sheet music transcriptions, instrument descriptions and video material so you can practice each rhythm. In addition, tracks are included for play along so you can practice more easily.
