Our story began in 2013, when Alfredo del Río, after several years of playing in a batucada, noticed the lack of a space where people could ask questions and share experiences about this fascinating world. That’s how the Percuforum batucada forum was born — a meeting point for lovers of Brazilian percussion in Spain, where the community contributes and updates content collaboratively.
Over time, that forum evolved into what we are today: an online musical instrument store based in Spain, distributing high-quality products throughout Europe and to many other parts of the world.
Although we are mainly an online store, at Percuforum we also love staying close to the community. That’s why you can often find us with our physical sales stand at numerous Brazilian percussion festivals and gatherings across Spain.
