Recife maracatu alfaias are from the professional range. The shell is made with 5 layers of birch wood (8 mm.) thick that guarantee the best sound quality. The rings are made of solid beech that provide greater durability. This 18" model comes disassembled to be more economical.

You can hear its sound in this video recorded with an Recife to which we installed a muffle on one of the heads to have 2 different sounds.
