The Recife maracatu alfaias are professional range. This model has measurements: 20" x 30 cm. The shell is made with 5 sheets of birch wood (8 mm.) thick that guarantee the best sound quality. The sides are made of solid beech that provide greater durability.

You can listen to its sound in this video recorded with an 18" Alfaia Recife to which we installed a muffle on one of the heads to have 2 different sounds.
