RECIFE maracatu alfaias are from the professional range. Measurements: 16" x 30 cm (A very defined and sharper sound than larger shells). The shell is made from 5 plies of birch wood (8 mm) thick to guarantee the best sound quality. The rings are solid beech that provide greater durability.

You can hear its sound in this video recorded with an Recife to which we installed a muffle on one of the heads to have 2 different sounds.
